MERA POSITIONS ON THE BORDER WITH THE U.S.

We are very proud to be able to announce that very soon we will be starting operations on the northern border, at the Tijuana International Airport after winning the tender last March. With an incredible gastronomic offer that will be divided into two stages, operations are planned to start between August and September of this year. The first will be for the Alfa rooms, which will feature several of our main brands such as Johnny Rockets, Panda Express and a Pizzeria that is yet to be defined. As an offer of local brands based on the gastronomy of the Baja California Norte region, there will be Bol Corona, a Tijuanense brand of burritos with more than 80 years in the market and two new own brands: Baja Bar Tostadas & Mariscos and Las Tipicas Tortas.

In the second stage in the Beta rooms, the restaurants of Panda Express, Johnny Rockets and Petit Gourmet will be opened, a new brand created by us where options of Bakery, Cafeteria, Deli Sandwiches and a small Wellness bar will be offered which will have natural options and healthy to complement the demand of all types of customers. The project is complemented with 2 commissariats, one of them with a bakery for a total of more than 500 m2. of surface for our 9 units.

With the presence of MERA, we will be improving the offer of Food and Beverages on the air side of the TIJ Airport, which in the last three years has shown positive growth in passengers and more and more travelers visit this airport due to the facilities to cross to States United with the Cross Border Express.
