In partnership with the Confederación Revolucionaria de Obreros y Campesinos (CROC), at MERA we held the MERA-CROC Scholarship Award Ceremony, an initiative launched in 2023 to promote education and recognize academic excellence among our collaborators’ children.
The program includes 355 scholarships distributed across different MERA locations with active agreements, including Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and ports in Cozumel. During the Cancún event, 241 scholarships were presented.
Scholarships are granted to children who maintain a grade point average above 8, and this year, three students achieved a perfect score of 10, reflecting discipline, perseverance, and dedication.
The ceremony highlighted the importance of collaboration between MERA and CROC in strengthening unity, growth, and shared well-being. This program encourages new generations to continue their studies and contribute positively to their communities.
Together with CROC, we reaffirm our commitment to education, development, and the well-being of the families that are part of our workplace community.
