On Monday, April 13, 2025, MERA was honored to participate in Employee Recognition Week for ASUR — Aeropuertos del Sureste — at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Through an exclusive pop-up experience, our brands came together to recognize the passion and commitment of those who bring airport spaces to life every day.
A Gastronomic Experience Designed to Celebrate People
The day began in the morning with a carefully curated selection of the best offerings from our brands. Bagel Boss delighted guests with a variety of bagels served with cream cheese and iced coffee. Black Star Bakery Cafe presented its signature avocado toast alongside a refreshing strawberry matcha drink. Meanwhile, BKLYN Blend offered a spinach, cherry tomato, and goat cheese frittata, paired with their Marcy Mango smoothie.

In the afternoon, the experience continued with a new round of standout selections: NAYA presented chicken shawarma over rice pilaf; MITO surprised guests with lo mein and General Tso’s chicken; Guy Fieri served his iconic mini Real Cheesy Burger; and Cobblestone rounded out the journey with pretzel sticks and cheese dip, accompanied by two mocktail options to toast the occasion.
