Pride, culture, and tradition: this is how we celebrated Colombia’s Independence Day.

On July 20th, MERA proudly joined the celebration of Colombia’s Independence Day—a date that invites us to remember the courage, resilience, and spirit of freedom that defines us as a nation.

From every corner of the country, we celebrate our roots, our culture, and our commitment to keep building a future grounded in effort, respect, and unity. For us, honoring this day means recognizing the heritage that shapes us, the diversity that brings us together, and the strength of a country that continues to move forward with passion and purpose.

Throughout the day, the colors of the Colombian flag brightened our spaces—both public areas and national and international terminals. Traditional outfits, like sombreros paisas, became a symbol of pride as we welcomed and bid farewell to travelers passing through.
