Irregularities detected in online testing
The university’s Technical Commission identified severe anomalies during virtual evaluations. Several applicants used mobile phones and unauthorized external support. Furthermore, security systems registered cases of identity fraud. For this reason, the university council decided to cancel the remote format.
On the other hand, faculty members supported canceling the digital admissions format. Authorities consider academic honesty essential within higher education. Likewise, the institution will maintain digital audits on evaluation platforms. Therefore, the new in-person filter will ensure a fair admissions process.
Firm stance from Rector Leonardo Lomelí
Rector Leonardo Lomelí issued a strong message to the university community. The academic stated that “professionals are not formed by cheating.” Furthermore, the official promised to reinforce all institutional security filters. Similarly, campus venues are already preparing logistics to receive thousands of youth.
